Working with us, what can I expect?

Locum Link operate nationally across the UK and Ireland and provide services to NHS Hospitals and other healthcare providers. Agency locums are booked by our Clients to cover anything from short term requirements to long term requirements.

How can I make sure that I am in a good position to maximize my opportunities?

You need to make sure that you constantly update your availability with us. This can be done via email or telephone.

How will I know what rate I will be paid?

Our pay rates will be conveyed to you by our Consultants at the time of the booking.

How do I get paid?

We operate a weekly payroll. In order to get paid, you must complete a Timesheet.

It is important that you print your name clearly on the Timesheet, the name of the Hospital, the grade and department you have worked in and hours of work are also required. Mileage, if applicable, is also filled in on the Timesheet. Please ensure that your Timesheet has an authorised signature from a Consultant or Senior Member of the Trust.

Where do I send my Timesheet?

Timesheets should be posted, faxed or emailed to our office. Timesheets must reach our payroll team no later than 12 noon on Thursday to be paid that Monday.

Why do I need a Criminal Records Check?

It is a legal requirement that all candidates who work in positions that are exempt from the Rehabilitation Offenders Act under go Access NI Police Checks. This check must take place prior to you undertaking any assignment.
